Better hospitals across Penrith

We’re delivering the billion dollar Nepean Hospital upgrade, we're delivering the new Penrith Community Health Centre in Lemongrove, and we’ve worked with the Federal Government to make healthcare more affordable, by delivering the new Medicare Urgent Care Clinic in Penrith. 

More healthcare workers

Bricks and mortar are just the first step. We’re making sure we have the health workers needed to run our hospitals. That starts by improving pay and conditions - with the largest pay rise for health workers in over a decade.

In just three years, we've recruited an additional 729 nurses, 151 doctors, 149 allied health professionals and 34 paramedics needed to run our hospitals locally.

There is more to do, and I’ll keep working to deliver world class health services across Penrith.
